Hollywood
THE ROOSEVELT
December 22nd, 2009 by Angela
This is a genuine piece of old Hollywood history. The first-ever Academy Awards ceremony was even held here and the outdoor pool features an underwater mural by David Hockney – oooh.

Slap bang in the middle of Hollywood, this is a great hotel for business or pleasure. But mainly pleasure, with Teddy's Nightclub, Library bar, The Tropicana Pool Bar (notoriously difficult to get in to but easier for residents) and the Dakota and 25 Degrees restaurants.

The Roosevelt is forever popping up on TV and in movies, crawling with hot young things.
